What’s Happening in the Parks – Week of 5/31/2021
The following events and programs are happening in Fort Wayne Parks the week of May 31, 2021
Pools and water playgrounds opening soon
Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation will open Northside and McMillen Pools for the season on June 7, 2021, and other water playgrounds on May 29, 2021.
City Pool closing schedule
Due to staff returning to school, McMillen Pool will close for the season at 7 pm, Friday, August 3 and Memorial Pool will close at 5 pm, August 5.
Waynedale Community Picnic – August 22nd
Celebrating its 13th year, the Waynedale Community Picnic will be held on August 22nd from 10am to 3pm at the Waynedale Park.
City Pool’s and splash pad closing schedule
Due to the end of summer, City Pool's and splash pad facilities will be closing shortly.
Swinney Park Tennis Courts closed for resurfacing
The East Swinney Park Tennis Courts will be closed beginning June 8th for scheduled resurfacing.
Pools & splash pads opening Memorial Day weekend
The City's free splash pads will be turned on Saturday, May 23, with plans to keep them turned on until Labor Day.
