Today, Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry delivered his 14th State of the City address with a theme of “Fort Wayne – It’s Our Time.”
Parking lot east of Promenade Park to close
The parking lot at Superior and Harrison Streets will be closed on February 8, 2021, in preparation for the construction of The Riverfront at Promenade Park.

Fort Wayne City Utility upgrades continue in 2021
In 2020, City Utility upgrades moved forward with more than $100M in water, sanitary, and storm improvements in more than 90 neighborhoods.
The Landing Opening to Vehicular Traffic Beginning Wednesday
Beginning October 28, the gates will be open on The Landing, allowing for vehicular traffic to drive through that section, weekdays, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the 3000 block of South Calhoun Street on June 23, 2020, at 10:09 am.
FWPD: Officer Involved Shooting
On June 8, 2020, a suspect in an Armed Robbery and who had allegedly been pointing a gun at residents in the area, began to shoot at an officer striking his squad car.
