ISP: Sheriff’s Sergeant’s vehicle struck on I‑69; driver injured, alcohol suspected
On July 8, 2026 just before 3:30am, a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant was parked in a crossover on Interstate 69 near the 323‑mile marker, observing traffic, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a northbound vehicle.
