On June 19, 2025, at 2239 hours, the Homicide Task Force took a 17yo male juvenile suspect into custody in the 5800 block of Bluffton Rd without incident regarding the homicide in the 700 block of West Rudisill Boulevard.

The Bluffton Road Bridge will be closed between Brooklyn Avenue and Broadway on Thursday, May 8 for bridge structure replacement.
