On June 12, 2024, Homeland Security Investigations and Fiscalía General De Justicia Del Estado de Tamaulipas in Mexico coordinated and assisted the FWPD with the arrest of two United States Citizens wanted in Fort Wayne, Indiana in a child sexual abuse investigation.

On April 11th, 2024, the Fort Wayne Police Department received a complaint of a male suspect who had allegedly challenged and detained several juveniles who were at or near the River City complex, located in the 400 block of Griffin Street.
