On October 12, 2025, at 0039 hours, the FWPD Gang and Violent Crimes Unit served a search warrant in the 10000 block of Jamaia Drive regarding an apparent gang party.

After investigating the August 8, 2022, homicide in the 1400 block of Greene Street, the FWPD Homicide Unit was able to identify the murderer as Michael D. Glover, 19 years-old.

At 14:45 hours, the FWPD's Gang and Violent Crime Unit received a tip that a Dominique Mack who is wanted in Michigan for suspected murder and home invasion crimes in the state of Michigan was in Fort Wayne.
FWPD: 2001 homicide cold case arrest
On November 13, 2024, Tommy Harris Jr. was taken into custody without incident in the 4400 block of Lillie Street on a warrant for Felony Murder and Burglary in connection to the cold case homicide of Larry Lovelace Jr. that took place on June 27, 2001.
