The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating a shooting involving three individuals outside the Showgirl 1 at 2910 Goshen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On November 15th, 2024, at 16:03, 21yo Jalan Carpenter was arrested in a high-risk traffic stop at the intersection of Lima and Wallen Roads.

A water main installation for the closure of Taylor Street for one block between Lafontain and Morris Street has been extended through Friday, November 15, 2024.

On November 13, 2024, Tommy Harris Jr. was taken into custody without incident in the 4400 block of Lillie Street on a warrant for Felony Murder and Burglary in connection to the cold case homicide of Larry Lovelace Jr. that took place on June 27, 2001.

The traffic signal at the intersection of St. Joe Road and Canterbury Boulevard was damaged by a vehicle on Monday, November 11 and is currently operating as a temporary all-way stop.

On November 12, 2024, at 18:05, the FWPD took Xavier Velez into custody without incident in the 1800 block of East Pontiac Street in connection with the homicide of Corbin Cornett that occurred on November 9, 2024.

Antion Hill was arrested on November 12, 2024, after allegedly stealing items from a local grocery store, for a warrant on an earlier, unrelated charge of Obscene Performance which is a level 6 Felony.

On November 10,2024, at 22:49, the FWPD responded to a call regarding multiple individuals walking up and down the 4200 block of Avondale Drive with firearms making threats to shoot.

Twenty-nine firefighters were welcomed to the Fort Wayne Fire Department in a graduation ceremony last night in the North Side High School Auditorium.

On November 9, 2024, at 12:07, the FWPD responded to a possible shooting victim in the 1000 block of Huestis Avenue.
