The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit along with the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit conducted another blitz in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
FWFD: Vacant Structure Fire, 1600 block Wells Street
On August 10, 2025, at 0718 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the 1600 block of Wells Street in reference to a structure fire.
FWPD Update: Homicide Investigation Arrest, 1400 block Greene Street
After investigating the August 8, 2022, homicide in the 1400 block of Greene Street, the FWPD Homicide Unit was able to identify the murderer as Michael D. Glover, 19 years-old.
Fort Wayne man sentenced for drug trafficking and firearm offenses
Yesterday, Brock E. Russell was sentenced after pleading guilty to possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
