FWPD: Homicide Suspects Arrested, 1800 block Fox Point Trail
On January 11, 2024, the FWPD arrested Terrance Sanders, Jr. and Christopher Recht in connection with the homicide of Ayvion Parker on September 12, 2023, in the 1800 block of Fox Point Trail.

The FWPD was notified about a sexual assault victim at a local hospital on January 7, 2024, around 2300 hours.

Today, Mayor Tom Henry announced that Steve Reed will retire as police chief for the City of Fort Wayne effective January 12, 2024.
