On May 8, 2021, at 8:40 a.m. the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the 4500 block of Lafayette Street for the report of an unknown problem.

In the April 22, 2021 police action shooting investigation, the Noble County Prosecutor has now filed criminal charges against Justin Robert Weikel.

On April 28, 2021, at 1:55 pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department Gang and Violent Crimes Unit attempted to conduct a traffic stop which led to a pursuit and traffic accident at Robinwood Drive and McKinnie Avenue.
