On January 13, 2024, at 1205 hours, FWPD officers were dispatched to the 4900 block of Vance Avenue in reference to shots fired.

On January 11, 2024, the FWPD arrested Terrance Sanders, Jr. and Christopher Recht in connection with the homicide of Ayvion Parker on September 12, 2023, in the 1800 block of Fox Point Trail.

The FWPD was notified about a sexual assault victim at a local hospital on January 7, 2024, around 2300 hours.

Shortly after midnight on December 30, 2023, officers were patrolling in the area of Calhoun Street and Fourth Street when they noticed a suspicious vehicle.

On December 24, 2023, at 0312 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the area of East Tillman Road and South Hanna Street.
FWPD: CSAM Suspect Convicted
After an investigation by FWPD Detective Miranda Lasley and conviction in court, Terrance Michael King was sentenced on December 18, 2023 to one hundred fifty-four years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.
FWPD: Murder Suspect in Allen County after extradition from Kentucky
Tommy Gray is currently incarcerated at the Allen County Jail for the charge of murder, attempted murder, and leaving the scene, after being apprehended by the U.S. Marshal's Service and extradited from Louisville Kentucky earlier this month.

FWPD: Homicide Suspect Arrested, Eby and Wheelock Roads
On December 12, 2023, at 1203 hours, Charles Sauge Blair was taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop in the area of Eby and Wheelock Roads.
