New Indiana state record set for cover crops

Indiana farmers have set a conservation record this year by planting an estimated 1.5 million acres of overwinter living cover crops, the largest amount ever recorded by an Indiana Conservation Partnership survey.

ISDA Multi-state conservation project

Recently, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service announced that a multi-state conservation program, led by Indiana, received $7,780,799 to protect natural resources in the Western Lake Erin Basin region.
