West Central Fire District votes to join unified Allen County Fire and EMS District
The West Central Fire District Board of Trustees voted Thursday night to enter into an interlocal agreement to join the unified Allen County Fire & EMS District.

In a joint meeting on October 24, 2025, the Allen County Board of Commissioners and Allen County Council received the findings of the Consolidated Fire/EMS Systems Study prepared by the Purdue University Fort Wayne Systems Engineering Center.
