There are several upcoming projects, that are not City of Fort Wayne projects, that will require lane restrictions and closures.
City offices to be closed on Labor Day – 9/1/2025
The City of Fort Wayne’s offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 in recognition of Labor Day.
Traffic Alert: Lane restriction on Harrison Street for window cleaning
Due to window cleaning August 27 - 29, 2025, the northbound travel lane on Harrison Street from West Superior Street to the south side of the bridge will be restricted with flagging as needed.
Traffic Alert: Congressional Parkway to become one-way street
Due to concrete street repairs, Congressional Parkway will become a one-way street, eastbound traffic only, from Independence Drive to Goshen Road September 8 thru October 1, 2025.

Earlier today, Councilmen Russell Jehl and Scott Myers delivered a letter to City Attorney Malak Heiny calling for a review of the City of Fort Wayne’s strategy for the legality and strategy for addressing encampments.
