Leaf Collection start date – 11/3/2025
Beginning November 3, 2025, the Fort Wayne Street Department will collect leaves in the City’s more than 400 neighborhoods.
Traffic Alert: Bluffton Road Bridge to close Wednesday – Thursday
The Bluffton Road Bridge will be closed from Broadway Avenue to Vesey Avenue October 22nd and 23rd, 2025, in order to pour the new concrete bridge deck.

On October 21, 2025, INDOT will be paving on northbound US 27 (Lafayette Street), which will require lane restrictions on US 27 between Dalman Avenue and Creighton Avenue.

Beginning October 20, 2025, Adams Center Road will be closed between Paulding Road and Seiler Road for installation of drainage facilities that are required for private development.

Beginning today, Engle Road will be fully closed between Ardmore Avenue and Bluffton Road at the railroad tracks due to emergency repairs by Norfolk Southern.
Trail sections to be closed for sealing
The Towpath Trail from Covington Road to Smith Road will be closed today to allow crews to reseal the entire length and width of that section of the trail.
