Death Investigation

Location: 3201 South Hanna Street, Weisser Park
Time: 6:20 a.m.
Deceased: Adult Male
Details:
Fort Wayne police responded to the report of a man down on the tennis courts in Weisser Park located at 3201 South Hanna Street at 6:20 a.m. this morning. A Park’s Department employee made the discovery and called police.
The deceased appears to be an adult male. Detectives have indicated that there were no obvious signs of a criminal act. Toxicology screening and an autopsy will establish cause and manner of death.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Coroner’s office and the Allen County Prosecutor’s office.
