Critical Shooting Investigation

Location: 5200 Lillie Street

Victims: Male / Critical Condition

Details:

On Tuesday, 6/21/2016, at approximately 4:20 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 5200 block of Lillie Street reference a shooting. Several residents in the area heard gunshots and called the police. One of the callers advised there was a victim lying in the middle of the street. Officers arrived on scene and located the male victim lying in the middle of Lillie Street. The victim was unresponsive and appeared to be suffering from several apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition.

Detectives are currently interviewing residents in the area to determine if they have any additional details to provide regarding this investigation. Crime Scene Technicians are processing the scene and collecting evidence. There is no suspect information to provide at this time.
