FYA have been shown to improve traffic flow and reduce waiting times at signals. Motorists should expect to encounter temporary daytime lane restrictions in all locations. Some overnight work may be needed. The project is expected to be completed by early summer.

Additional signal upgrades, at various intersections along S.R. 3 and U.S. 27 will take place overnight beginning Sunday, May 15, at 9 p.m. Motorists will see traffic directed by law enforcement along S.R. 3, from Dupont Road to the I-69 ramp; and along U.S. 27, from Ley Road to Fernill Avenue, between the hours of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Flashing yellow arrows are already installed at intersections along S.R. 1/Dupont Road and U.S. 30.

More information about the flashing yellow left-turn arrow is available on INDOT’s web site at www.in.gov/indot/3202.htm.
