Some impressive Early In-person Voting stats.

As of yesterday at 4:30 p.m., 1,888 had voted at the Rousseau Centre. That’s an average of 111 each of the 17 days the early voting has been available there.

I spoke with Beth Dlug, Director of Elections for Allen County, and she shared that following numbers for today alone – and this was with roughly 3 and a quarter hours left in today’s availability:

  • 184 – Aboite Library Branch
  • 183 – Dupont Library Branch
  • 127 – Hessen Cassel Library Branch
  • 223 – Georgetown Library Branch

The total after 4 and a half hours (approximately) – 717.

See – Early in-person voting opportunities continue for information about availability for Early In-Person Voting opportunities.

  1. I voted at the Georgetown branch library on Wednesday. This was way more convenient than going to a traditional election precinct. Voting convenience translates into higher voter turnout. More locations and expanded hours are the way to go.
