Embassy Theatre staff expands

(August 18, 2015) – The Embassy Theatre announces the hiring of Nancy Louraine as major gifts officer.

As major gifts officer, Nancy will focus on completing the Vision for the Embassy capital campaign. Begun in 2013, the campaign has raised $7.8 million of $10 million project for the renovation of the former Indiana Hotel.

Nancy retired in January 2015 after 24 years as CEO of Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities and had a 40 year career in the disability world. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’ degrees in health care administration from IPFW and her CFRM (computer finance and risk management) from Indiana University School of Philanthropy.

At the July 31 My City Summit presented by Young Leaders of Northeastern Indiana, Louraine was the recipient of the Ian Rolland Courageous Leader Award. This award is presented annually to an individual who has made outstanding, sustained and unselfish broad-based contributions to community service in Northeast Indiana.
