Residential structure fire at 482 Charlotte Avenue
(March 16, 2015) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a residential structure fire at 482 Charlotte Avenue. The first engine arrived in four minutes and found smoke coming from the basement of the house. The crew went inside for fire attack while other crews searched the home and checked for fire extension.
The three occupants who were home at the time of the fire escaped before the fire department arrived. No injuries were reported.
The fire department was assisted by NIPSCO, AEP, Fort Wayne Police, Neighborhood code.
