The Hagerman Group Selected for $55 Million Renovation of Parkview Hospital Randallia Campus
(October 21, 2014) – Parkview leaders announced today that $55 million is allocated for improvements and upgrades at the Parkview Hospital Randallia campus. The Hagerman Group, a construction management and general construction company based in Fort Wayne, was awarded the project.
Since the opening of the new Parkview Regional Medical Center in 2012, the healthcare system deemed these improvements necessary to meet the needs of the region. The multi-phased renovation will create 150 new jobs over the next 4 to 5 years. Some improvements include: State-of-the-art surgery suites, a cardiac cath lab, an updated and enhanced Family Birthing Center and inpatient and outpatient rehab services, an expanded critical care unit and expanded services at the Center for Wound Healing and Center on Aging and Health.
Hagerman constructed the original Parkview Hospital Randallia in 1951 and has decades of experience on the Randallia campus. The Hagerman project team is led by Project Executive Brad Smith, along with Project Manager Tom Werling, General Superintendent Tim Bishop, Assistant Project Manager Ben Stuby, Project Engineer Leigh Ann Leazier, Estimating Manager Chris Freiburger and Brian Lelonek as Interiors Superintendent. The team is eager to be a part of the hospital’s transformation.
