Hickman joins staff of History Center
Debbie Hickman has joined the staff of the History Center as development coordinator.

(September 30, 2014) – Hickman most recently was the development director at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Auburn, where she was involved in grant writing, securing corporate membership support and sponsorships, helping to secure funds for the museum’s capital campaign and producing the museum’s newsletters and annual report.

She also previously worked at the Community Foundation of Wabash County and the Community Foundation of DeKalb County.

“We are delighted to welcome Debbie to the History Center, with her wonderful experience on both side of the philanthropic coin,” said Todd Maxell Pelfrey, History Center executive director.

 

About the History Center
The History Center is home to the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society and its museum is housed in the Old City Hall at the corner of Berry and Barr in downtown Fort Wayne. The Society’s collection includes over 27,000 artifacts and documents as well as ownership of the National Historic Landmark Chief Richardville House.
