Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Mostly cloudy, cool, wet weekend
(October 4, 2014) – The cold front has moved through but the low is still rotating in northern Ontario, Canada. This low will rotate another wave of rainfall through the County Warning Area (CWA) today. The tight pressure gradient today will also cause windy conditions with gusts up to 30 mph possible. Another affect from this large low pressure system is the colder air it is bringing into the CWA. Much below normal temperatures are expected for today and tonight and if the wind becomes light enough…portions of the southwestern part of the CWA could see some patchy frost.
Tonight is expected to be mainly dry with portions of the far northern part of the CWA having a low chance for some rain.
