USF honoring alumni during Homecoming weekend

(September 8, 2014) — The University of Saint Francis will conduct its annual Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame Awards celebration during Homecoming weekend on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in the North Campus gymnasium and auditorium.

The following USF graduates will receive awards:

Distinguished Alumna—Carol Lupke, Bachelor of Arts 1952
Distinguished Young Alumna—Danielle Collins, Bachelor of Arts 2011
Distinguished Service—Doris Bass, representative of the St. Joseph School of Nursing class of 1958

Honorary Alumna—Antoinette Murray, Master of Science in Education 1972

School of Business Alumni of Achievement recipient—Devon Rush, Bachelor of Business Administration 2014
School of Creative Arts Alumni of Achievement recipient—Audrey Riley, Bachelor of Arts 1981, Master of Arts 2009
School of Health Sciences Alumni of Achievement recipient—Amy Knepp, Bachelor of Science in Nursing 1999, Master of Science in Nursing 2003
School of Liberal Arts and Sciences Alumni of Achievement recipient—Dr. Gloria Shamanoff, Bachelor of Science in Education 1975

Athletic Hall of Fame recipient—Brian Kurtz, Bachelor of Arts 2008, football
Athletic Hall of Fame recipient—Michelle (Martin) Nolan, Bachelor of Science 1996, women’s basketball
Athletic Hall of Fame recipient—Adam Longsworth, Bachelor of Liberal Studies 2008, track and field
Athletic Hall of Fame—1981 men’s golf team (Steve Riley, Scott Riley, Chris Leeper, Mike Meehan and Mike Bair).
