April 15th: TinCaps Announce Roster Moves
(April 15, 2014) – The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster moves today:
RHP Adrian De Horta placed on the disabled list. De Horta, 19, has made three appearances (two starts), and is 0-0 with a 4.91 ERA. In 11 innings, he has allowed six earned runs, walked four and struck out 11.
RHP Coby Cowgill transferred from extended spring training to Fort Wayne. Cowgill, 23, is a former Rangers farmhand who was signed by San Diego as a free agent on May 21, 2013. Last year with the Eugene Emeralds, he went 3-2 with a 2.78 ERA in 17 games (seven starts). In 55 innings, he struck out 62 and walked 20, with batters hitting .221 against him.
