Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Messy snow weather expected for President’s Day
Lingering light snow showers are expected to continue to move off to our east by this afternoon. Highs today will be in the mid 20s, lows tonight will fall into the upper single digits and mid teens. A strong upper level disturbance will bring around 2-5 inches of snow to the area tomorrow. Expect highest accumulations across our northern counties, with a mix of snow and sleet possibly limiting accumulations across our south. Heaviest accumulations could be around the afternoon rush hour commute. Be sure to monitor the forecast and allow yourself plenty of extra time if traveling tomorrow.
