TinCaps On The Field
- The TinCaps came-from-behind Wednesday at Parkview Field to beat the Lake County Captains, 4-3, as they scored four times with two outs in the seventh inning.
- Outfielder Mallex Smith has stolen 16 bases since July 5. That’s fourth most in all of Minor League Baseball. Smith is second in the Midwest League for the season with 44 stolen bags.
- Starting pitcher Zach Eflin ranks eighth in the Midwest League in ERA on the season with a 3.02 mark in 18 starts.
