News release from INDOT:
Left Lane Restrictions on Southbound I-469
Restrictions between Exit 19 and Exit 15
(June 26, 2013) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces updates to the lane restrictions on southbound I-469 for concrete restoration work.
The southbound I-469 right lane restriction that had been in place between Exit 21 (US 24) and Exit 15 (Tillman Road) is complete at this time.
The southbound I-469 left lane is now restricted between Exit 19 (US 30) and Exit 15. This restriction is expected to be complete by end of the day on July 3, weather permitting.
The speed limit along southbound I-469 is reduced to 60 mph in work zones, with temporary speed limits of 45 mph imposed when workers are present, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Arrow boards, cones and barrels will direct traffic as needed while the work is in progress.
INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone. For the latest news and information about INDOT, visit www.in.gov/indot.
