Police Action Shooting Update

(May 3, 2013) – The City of Fort Wayne Police department is releasing the names of the officers involved in the police action shooting that occurred on Thursday, May 02, 2013 in the 7700 block of Weymouth Court:
Involved: Sergeant Shane C. Coleman; commission date of October 12, 1995.
Involved: Sergeant Daniel N. Ingram; commission date of March 25, 2002.
Involved: Officer Kenneth H. Jameson; commission date of August 02, 2002.
Involved: Officer Donald L. Lewis; commission date of March 25, 2002.
This incident remains under investigation with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Indiana State Police. There is nothing further at this time.
