I&M restoration update
I&M is still determining how the second storm will affect the overall power restoration effort in Allen County. Estimates for complete restoration will be available later today.
Power restoration in Allen County from the June 29 storm was about 96% complete when another storm moved through around 8 p.m. on July 5 causing additional interruptions in the area. I&M estimates that as many as 10,000 customers experienced an interruption in service as a result of the most recent storm.
As of 6:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, I&M estimates that an overall total of 7,900 customers are awaiting restoration of electric service.
I&M continues to determine the impact of the most recent storm on restoration efforts. Estimates for complete power restoration in Allen
County will be available later today.
