Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy Job Fair and Student Registration Open House
Please join us for a Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy Job Fair and Student Registration Open House on Wednesday, June 13th from 11 AM-Â?7PM at the Fort Wayne Urban League; 2135 S Hanna St.
Parents and students are invited to meet our principal, learn about the school and complete an application for enrollment. Information
will also be provided about the Urban League’s free After School Academy, and free summer programming. The summer program begins June 18th for students in grades 2-Â?12.Also, we are currently accepting resumes for teaching and support staff positions. Those interested in employment should bring a resume and a list of references to the Open House.
Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy will uplift our community and promote opportunity for all, through a college preparatory education for our youth. In addition the Urban League will invest more than $2 million dollars directly into employment opportunities in Southeast Fort Wayne over the next two years.
In August the Fort Wayne Urban League will open its new charter school at the former Zion school building at 2313 S. Hanna St. Thurgood Marshall Leadership Academy will enroll up to 225 students in grades K-Â?8.
The Urban League has created this school in order to provide a model of educational excellence and opportunity for all.
