The Fort Wayne City Council meets this evening with full agendas in both the Committee and Regular Sessions. Â The Agendas may be downloaded here, while the ordinances up for introduction may be downloaded here. Â There is a Prior Approval on the agenda regarding Harrison Square sewer work along Ewing Street to the tune of $830,259.97. Â The Council will again take up the City’s proposed changes to the Residential and Commercial Codes.
There are also some tax abatement requests starting down the pipeline. Â There are four Declaratory Resolutions on the agenda, “to be passed this evening”. Â These regard Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. (Eddy’s) and North American Van Lines.

The ordinance for the vacating of Fairmount Place will be introduced, with the public hearing scheduled for February 24, 2009 at 5:30 pm.
An ordinance amending City Code to allow for the possession, sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages in Harrison Square.
An ordinance which will approve an agreement for the Covington Road and Dickie Road bridge between INDOT and the City which puts the City’s share at $200,000.
An ordinance that will award a consultant’s contract for the State Boulevard Realignment and Widening from Spy Run Avenue to Cass Street.
