Geoff Paddock endorsed by Chamber of Commerce BizPAC
(October 25, 2011) – Geoff Paddock, the Democratic Candidate for City Council in the Fifth District, has been endorsed by BizPAC, the political action committee representing the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce.
In an e mail sent to the candidate, BizPAC endorsed Paddock based on his “demonstrated leadership in free enterprise, economic development, and local business enhancement,” and that he would “champion pro-business and pro-economic development initiatives.”
Paddock is the Executive Director of the Headwaters Park Flood Control Project, which has brought flood mitigation, jobs, and economic activity to Fort Wayne. The park was built mostly with private dollars, and is operated mostly by private dollars. Paddock is running in the open seat being vacated by Councilman Tim Pape.
