News release from IPFW:
Summer Internship and Job Fair at IPFW
(March 24, 2011) – The annual Summer Internship and Job Fair, hosted by the office of Career Services at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will be held next Thursday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Walb Student Union.
The fair will connect students and alumni to approximately 40 local and national employers recruiting for full and part-time work,  internship and work study positions, as well as providing information on various majors and additional opportunities. “This is an  important opportunity for employers to brand themselves on campus and for students to connect with potential employers in the region,” said Jim McAtee, director of Career Services at IPFW.
Before the fair students are encouraged to visit www.ipfw.edu/career, which provides helpful tips on what to expect at a job fair, how to build an effective resume, and advice on how to follow-up with employers after the fair.
The Summer Internship and Job Fair is offered at no charge. Students and alumni are welcome to attend.
