On August 26, 2026, Alejandro Lugo was arrested by the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Section for several child molesting charges after an investigation.

Fort Wayne Police Department incident Report Details/Summary:
On July 26th, 2026 the Fort Wayne Police Department was notified of a child molesting allegation which occurred in the 10500 block of Wadsworth Court. Officers responded to the scene and began an investigation. Officers also notified the Indiana Department of Child Services. After the initial report, forensic interviews were conducted at the Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children. In the interviews, two juvenile victims disclosed that they had been sexually abused. A Detective in the Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS) was assigned to the investigation. During his investigation, he determined that the suspect was Alejandro Lugo, a resident of Fort Wayne.
This morning, Lugo was arrested at his place of employment and was transported to the Allen County Jail for the below listed charges. The Fort Wayne Police Department thanks the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children for their assistance and cooperation in this investigation.
