A water main break on Ardmore Avenue will require a road closure between Elmhurst Drive and Lower Huntington Road beginning tonight, August 18, 2026.

Traffic Alert: Water Main Break to Close Ardmore South of Elmhurst Tonight

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 18, 2026) – A water main break on Ardmore Avenue will require a road closure between Elmhurst Drive and Lower Huntington Road beginning tonight, Tuesday, August 18, at 8:00 p.m. The road will be closed in both directions during the repair.

Crews are expected to work through the night to repair the water main and reopen the road as soon as the work is complete. Motorists should avoid the area and use an alternate route.
