Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 24, 2026) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a weekend closure at State Road 930 and Vance Avenue in Fort Wayne.
Starting at or after 9 p.m. on Friday, July 24, crews will close Vance Avenue between S.R. 930 and Inwood Drive for pipe construction and asphalt replacement. Vance Avenue is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday, July 27. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
Drivers will need to seek an alternate route during this closure.
Work on the S.R. 930 roadway improvement project began in mid-March of this year and stretches from I-69 to East Washington Boulevard. Read the original release here.
