Traffic Alert: Lane Restrictions on Clinton Street Through End of Week
Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 21, 2026) — Two lanes of Clinton Street between Wayne Street and Washington Boulevard are closed as crews raise a sunken manhole and spray-line a brick sewer constructed in 1867.
The spray-lining process creates a new pipe within the existing sewer, extending its useful life by approximately 80 years without requiring the entire pipe to be excavated and replaced.
The lane restrictions are expected to remain in place through the end of the week. Motorists should use caution and be alert for crews and equipment while traveling through the area.
