The Allen County Coroner has identified Kelvin Andre Topps as the 20th Allen County Homicide in 2026.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 15, 2026) – The autopsy has been completed and the next of kin has been notified regarding the deceased individual who was found shot in the 1900 block of Hillside Avenue, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana on 7/15/2026, at about 0015. He has been identified as Kelvin Andre Topps, Male, Black age 65, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was pronounced dead on scene by Three Rivers Ambulance Authority.
Kelvin Andre Topps’s Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound of Chest and Manner of Death is Homicide.
Kelvin Andre Topps is the 20th Homicide for Allen County in 2026.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
