Final Rock the Plaza Concert Returns This Weekend
Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 13, 2026) – The Allen County Public Library invites the community to the final Rock the Plaza concert this weekend, with one last evening of music, memories, and celebration on Saturday, July 18, from 4 to10 p.m. on the Main Library Plaza.
After nearly two decades as one of Fort Wayne’s favorite summer traditions, Rock the Plaza will take its final bow with an extended concert featuring some of the series’ most beloved performers:
- Phil’s Family Lizard
- Pop N Fresh
- Alicia Pyle & the Locals
- URB
- Pink Droyd
Since its launch in 2007, Rock the Plaza has brought thousands of people together to enjoy live music and celebrate the region’s thriving local arts scene. The final concert will serve as both a reunion and a tribute to the musicians, volunteers, sponsors, and audiences who helped make the series a success.
“Rock the Plaza has created countless memories over the years and has played an important role in supporting local musicians and bringing our community together,” said Susan P. Baier, executive director of the Allen County Public Library. “As we prepare to close this chapter, we invite everyone who has attended a concert, discovered a new favorite band, or simply enjoyed an evening on the Plaza to join us one last time.”
The free event is made possible through the generous support of the ACPL Foundation and Beers Mallers, LLP. Parking at the downtown library will be free for the duration of the concert.
Food, beverages, beer, and wine will be available for purchase. Community members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, gather with friends and family, and help celebrate the legacy of a program that has left a lasting impact on Fort Wayne’s music scene.
