FWPD: Fourth of July arrests

The Fort Wayne Police Department has released their arrest stats for fireworks violations during the Fourth of July holiday.

Arrest Stats for the Fourth of July Fireworks:

  • 3 Juveniles were arrested. All were observed throwing lit fireworks.
  • 1 16 year old – Class A Misdemeanor Resisting Law Enforcement Fleeing on Foot, Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief
  • 1 16 year old – Citation for City Ordinance Violation – Fireworks in a City Park
  • 1 14 year old – Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief
