The Allen County Coroner has identified Wayne Andrew Foster as the 16th Allen County Homicide in 2026.

News release from the Allen County Coroner:
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 24, 2026) – The autopsy has been completed and next of kin has been notified regarding the deceased individual who was involved in a physical altercation on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the 2000 block of Nelson Street, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at about 19:15 hrs. Identified as Wayne Andrew Foster, Male, White, age 61, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was transported to Lutheran Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
Wayne Andrew Foster’s Cause of Death is Complications of Blunt Impact Injuries of Head and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Wayne Andrew Foster is the 16th Homicide for Allen County in 2026.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
