Community Youth Summit
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 17, 2026) – Fort Wayne Community Schools, Alive Community Outreach and Big Hearts Community Projects will host a Community Youth Summit from 10 a.m.–noon Thursday, June 25, at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 E. Wayne St. The event will bring together students and community leaders for a unique conversation focused on addressing youth violence through student-centered solutions.
The summit will take place during the Alive Community Outreach Peacemaker Academy. It is designed to ensure student voices are heard while encouraging adults to listen and learn. Students participating in the academy will engage in guided discussions about youth violence and its impact on their lives and communities. The conversations will help students identify root causes and explore ways to create a more peaceful community
