Most County Offices will CLOSE for Memorial Day
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 20, 2026) – On Monday, May 25, 2026, most Allen County Offices will close to observe Memorial Day, and will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
County offices that provide 24/7 functions do not close for holidays. Some of these include the Sheriff’s Department, Community Corrections, Allen County Juvenile Center, Youth Services Center, and the Highway Department. If you are unsure whether or not a department is open, call ahead of your visit. County phone numbers are listed on the website at www.allencounty.in.gov.
