Beginning May 18, 2026, crews will replace a water valve on South Anthony Boulevard which will close the northbound lane between Creighton Avenue and Simons Street.

Traffic Alert: South Anthony Boulevard Lane Closure
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 15, 2026) – Beginning Monday morning, May 18, crews will replace a water valve on South Anthony Boulevard, closing the northbound lane between Creighton Avenue and Simons Street.
The restriction is expected to be in place for three days.
Northbound traffic on South Anthony should use East Pontiac Street, the roundabouts, and Wayne Trace to return to South Anthony.
Water valves are an essential part of the water system. They help crews limit service disruptions for customers when maintenance or repairs are needed in a neighborhood. The new valve will strengthen the system in the area.
