On May 15, 2026, at 2203 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 6100 block of Yellowstone Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

FWFD Engine 6 arrived and found a tri-level house with heavy fire involvement in the attached garage. Multiple propane tanks were nearby and on fire. The fire quickly progressed to going through the roof of the attached garage. Firefighters performed an aggressive interior attack of the fire combined with a search of the structure to confirm everyone was out. The fire was brought under control 30 minutes after arrival.
