
The City of Fort Wayne’s investment in neighborhood infrastructure improvements continues as the Fort Wayne City Council approved resurfacing packages for the Southeast and Southwest quadrants.

Resurfacing projects receive approval at City Council
Commitment to investing in neighborhoods continuesFort Wayne, Indiana (April 28, 2026) – Fort Wayne’s investment in neighborhood infrastructure improvements continues. Two more projects led by the City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division received final approval from City Council this evening.
The resurfacing packages for the Southeast and Southwest quadrants are moving forward. The investment for Southeast is $749,682 and the project total for Southwest is $934,698.
Last month, the Northeast Quadrant resurfacing package was approved at $776,745. The Northwest Quadrant resurfacing plan was introduced at tonight’s City Council meeting and will be discussed and voted on at a future meeting.
Under Mayor Sharon Tucker’s leadership the City is investing $37 million in neighborhood infrastructure enhancements this year.
