On April 19, 2026, at 1320 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 300 block of Landau Run, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1320 hours
On Scene: 1324 hours
Under Control: 1359 hours
Multiple calls to 9-1-1 were received including the occupant who stated that everyone was out of the house including their pet.
FWFD Engine 16 arrived within four minutes and found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the house. Crews proceeded with an aggressive fire attack as additional crews arrived and completed a search to confirm that all occupants were indeed out of the structure. Crews worked to bring the fire under control by 1359 with no injuries.
The fire is currently under investigation.
