Eco Fest debuts new web features to highlight sustainable events and businesses

Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 2, 2026) – Local sustainability focused nonprofit Eco Fest has debuted new website features that will highlight local businesses and organizations, as well as upcoming events.

The directory allows businesses and organizations to submit their listing to be featured, with a search bar to allow users to pinpoint what they’re looking for. “It’s kind of an extension of what we do at our annual event. At the Eco Fest event in May we invite attendees to shop and connect with these kinds of vendors who either offer eco-friendly products or have sustainable practices and missions. If I’m looking for a landscaping company that prioritizes eco-friendly practices, I can search for that in the directory” Executive Director Addie Farris explains.

In addition to the directory, Eco Fest also launched a local events calendar to help keep the community connected to events from the same kind of businesses and organizations that might be featured in the directory. “Many of our vendors are offering amazing events on a regular basis and we wanted a one-stop-shop where people can find these sustainable focused events without having to sift through hundreds of other events that don’t fall into that category.”

With Earth Day just around the corner, the Eco Fest Events Calendar will showcase local Earth Day events.

The directory can be found at www.ecofestfw.com/directory.
